Lo Bosworth has a new boyfriend
Lo Bosworth showed up at Verizon Wireless Matt Leinart Foundation event at Lucky Strikes Lanes & Lounge in L.A. on Monday with her new boyfriend, lacrosse player Scott Hochstadt. In all the time I’ve been watching The Hills, it seems as if she never mentions boys, so I was excited to see her with such a cutie. He does kinda look like Pauly Shore though…and someone else I can’t put my finger on. Oh well, best of luck to them both!

Ugly Betty to Lose Her Braces?
Here’s a link to an old interview (from last season), but I found the last question particularly interesting….the series creator Silvio Horta, says that by the end of the upcoming season, we will see Betty lose her braces and see ” progression in her look overall.” Hmm…I’ll be interested to see what that means. I think its time she loses her braces, after all, its been, what, 3 years? But as for her fashion sense, that’s part of the reason that I love Betty. Either way, I can’t wait for the new season to start as I’m constantly reminded with each episode why I love this show.

New Music: Colbie Caillat
Check out Colbie Caillat’s new song Fallin’ For You(okay, its not brand new, it was released 6/29, so I guess I’m a few weeks behind). I totally love the song and am going to buy it when I get home tonight. Its a great girly and summer song. Colbie’s new album Breakthrough comes out Aug. 25th.
It’s a boy for Jason Priestley!
Jason Priestley and his wife Naomi Lowde-Priestley, welcomed their second child, a boy, on Thursday. This is the second child for the couple, who also have a 2 yr, Ava. No details were announced, including a name, but sounds like mom and the baby are happy and healthy!

Maura Tierney Undergoing Medical Tests
UPDATE: Maura Tierney has revealed that she has found a tumor in her breast. In a statement, she says: “I will not know either my exact diagnosis or course of treatment until that surgery is performed. My doctors have all assured me this is a very treatable condition. I’m very optimistic as to the outcome and want to thank everyone who has sent positive thoughts and support. I look forward to going back to work soon.” Read more

Maura Tierney is undergoing some medical tests, although we don’t know why yet. Maura was set to star in the upcoming new series Parenthood, which has now been delayed to accommodate Tierney.
“Start of production on NBC Universal’s new series Parenthood has been postponed for eight weeks due to medical evaluation that valued cast member Maura Tierney is undergoing,” an NBC rep told Us Saturday. You can read more about her and the series delay here.
Here’s hoping that the evaluation brings Maura good news!
Jim Carrey to be a GRANDPA!?!
Jim Carrey, 47, confirmed last week that he’s going to be a grandpa! Yep, his 21 yr old daughter, Jane, is pregnant with her first child. Jim said in a statement “I am very excited, Jane is going to be a great mom.” Congratulations to them both!

Nicole Richie, who’s due in late summer, shows off her pregnant tummy while at the beach with her boyfriend Joel Madden in Malibu, on Sunday. I always think that Nicole looks gorgeous when she’s pregnant bc she puts on a weight and isn’t so scrawny. Can’t wait for the birth to see what unique name they’ll come up with!
Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Split
Multiple sources, including People.com, are reporting that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up. I can’t say that I’m surprised by the news, as I haven’t seen many pictures of them together recently. Supposedly he broke it off with her, but who knows…she gets a bad dating rap just like Jennifer Aniston. Here’s wishing happiness in the future to them both.
